As a man, I believe that a life without purpose is not worth living. Too often, we forget about the carrot—the goal or purpose in our lives. I believe that deep down, every person strives to live with purpose. In the past few years, I’ve faced moments where I lost my carrot entirely, wandering without direction, just holding a stick. Other times, I’ve been laser-focused, arrow-straight on that carrot. But in my pursuit, I lost sight of something important: I forgot that the stick was part of the journey too, and I missed out on the joy of the process.
