I believe that a life without purpose is not worth living. We often lose sight of the carrot—the goal or purpose in our lives. I firmly believe that deep down, every person has a will to live a life of purpose. Over the past few years, I’ve had moments where I completely lost track of my carrot and felt lost, directionless, with nothing but a stick. Other times, I’ve been fully focused, with my eyes locked on that carrot like an arrow. But there was a point when I became so fixated on the destination that I forgot the stick was part of the journey too—I lost the joy along the way.
