In 2022, my life took a sharp turn. I not only left a community I loved but also went through a tough breakup that hit me hard. Needing some serious space to think and heal, I packed up my RV and headed out West. I spent a couple of months on the road, winding up in Sedona, AZ—a journey that was just me, myself, and I, and absolutely needed.

Out there in the wide-open spaces, I got real with myself—no more excuses, no distractions. It was all about listening to my own thoughts, feeling my feelings all the way through, and taking care of the parts of me that needed it most, even the parts that weren’t so easy to face. Getting comfortable with being uncomfortable, I learned how to truly love myself, even when times got tough.
