My Friend Bob
Feeling the loss of my dear friend Bob Kalan. I was shocked when I found out early today but it didn't sink in until now. Though I feel extremely sad for his passing I feel gratitude for the friendship we had.
Thank you Bob for being you. I will always remember our deep conversations. Those who knew him know that you just don't talk with Bob, you engage with Bob. He had a way of getting your full attention no matter how busy you were. When Bob wanted to talk with you, there was nothing more important than what he wanted to tell and he delivered the message the only way Papa Bob knows...by not giving a #*ck of what you think of him! You got Bob in his full essence, raw, undiluted for as long you can listen. He would stand in front of you, inches from your face , put his hands on your shoulders and lock eyes with you with such intensity before he unleashed onto you his wisdom and the love Mother Ayahuasca shares with him.
I am grateful for he taught me how to be more patient and how to really listen. He also inspired me to eat more raw foods and drink wheatgrass juice. Thank you brother from the bottom of my heart. You helped me change my life.
Adios my brother, I celebrate your departure. You fulfilled your earthly duties and now on to a new journey beyond the cosmos. Your precense will be missed, no doubt about that. Its been an honor being part of your life, to share our journey of growth and healing together. You lived your life in your own terms with love and compassion in helping others. That was your way, Bob's way. I thank you for the journey, the love and the lessons. Vuela amigo, vuela con el viento. 🙏
