Becoming a Warrior
Share
A warrior: One who is of service to the larger order of things. Integrated, balanced, whole. One who has the wisdom, fluidity and grace of the divine feminine to soften and humble his actions such that he lead from inner harmony, compassion and love.
Now, more than ever, we need warriors. Not blind, self-serving men who are disconnected and disembodied. Not boy-men who perpetuate the perennial, deeply insecure fear of the divine feminine, a fear expressed in thousands of years of patriarchal rule and matriarchal oppression. No, indeed, now is the time for men to bring to light the systemic control of the feminine as a way to keep the dark and profoundly wounded masculine in power. Now is the time for men to confront their longstanding fear of women, starting with their mothers, sisters, grandmothers, girlfriends, daughters, and extending outward.
To turn fear into love. Control into reverence. To turn a man into a *gentle*man, a loving man, a heartfelt, integrated warrior, mature enough to know that it is the divine feminine that births the power and purpose of the divine masculine.
